knit purl repeat

knit purl repeat knit purl repeat

Knit purl repeat.

Best way for me to relax is to knit (or crochet of course).

Did you know crochet and knitting boost relaxation for nearly everyone who picks up hooks and needles?

This is the new sweater I'm working on (see previous post). I will make a shorter version of the knitted sweater dress for a change, in a great colour that goes with everything.

So I'm knitting on the rug; knitpurlrepeat...

that time of year again

knitted sweater dress

Seasonal wardrobe update.

How I love this time of year, when you have to wear a cardigan or sweater at night.

I have two sweater dresses, a black and a natural colored one and I've been living in those sweaters during the last two years. Time to make something new, a shorter version, in a different colour.
So after I finished all the cool crochet workshop preparations for next week, I started a new knitting project this afternoon.

I'm planning to make a sweater this time (instead of a sweater dress) with some beautiful pale pink tweed yarn.

If you need a knitted sweater(dress) in your wardrobe, you can find the P A T T E R N in my Etsy shop.

(photo from 2015, because it's too dark to take a photo of the new knitting project)

djemaa el fna rotterdam

rotterdam rotterdam rotterdam rotterdam rotterdam rotterdam rotterdam rotterdam rotterdam rotterdam rotterdam rotterdam rotterdam rotterdam rotterdam rotterdam rotterdam rotterdam

Djemaa el Fna Rotterdam.

At the Djemaa el Fna Rotterdam you can find three different markets; the Souk (to shop), the Food market (to taste delicious Moroccan food) and a crafts market (for workshops).

Today we went to the Museum park and it was an exciting 'sneak preview' for the Djemaa el Fna square in Marrakech next week. Oh, how I enjoyed the almond cookies, the sounds, the scents and colors.

You can still visit the Djemaa el Fna in Rotterdam tomorrow.

suitcase size

wood & wool xs stool

Two weeks from now, we will start with the 6th edition of the Cool Crochet Workshop in Marrakech. Around this time we officially start with a welcome dinner on the rooftop terrace of riad Chambres d'Amis.

At the moment I'm working on new projects to make during our travels in and around Marrakech.

Twelve women from around the world will join the October workshop. Among them, there are four 'crocheteers' that already joined the workshop before, which I consider as a compliment!

Last April we did a stool-cover project for a small moroccan stool (think suitcase size) and everyone was so excited when we showed all the tiny little stools.

So big chance, we will repeat this project!

adeus lisboa

lisboa lisboa lisboa lisboa lisboa lisboa lisboa lisboa lisboa lisboa lisboa lisboa lisboa lisboa lisboa lisboa lisboa lisboa

The last day of our roadtrip in Portugal.

We made a trip from Porto to Coimbra, to Nazaré, to Lisbon. We enjoyed every minute and did great things! It has been a wonderful summer holiday, which already ended two weeks ago.
Because of the many roadtrip posts, I was able to hold on to that relaxed Portuguese holiday feeling.

Roadtrip Portugal 2016.

A photo report of the streets of Alfama, a visit to the Feira da Ladra. On the hottest day of the week we escaped the city and took the train to Estoril, where you literally step out on the beach. (apparently the nordic walking ladies didn't suffer from the heat)
